OUR STORY
We are a group of four students at Hagley College taking a class in business. Our product is fried chicken that is trying to promote healthy eating habits. We have multiple different options for meals, drinks and sauces, and we host a variety of games and activities where people can compete to win meals.
OUR CAUSE
Our chicken is a healthy variant of other fast-food joints. New Zealand has rapidly increasing obesity rates, with one in three adults over the age of fifteen classified as overweight and a further 35% as obese; to reduce these statistics, we help people develop a healthier lifestyle for themselves and their families.
COMMUNITY FOCUS
To help our local community, we plan on donating 10% of our profits towards the salvation army who are doing so much for people in need and have been fighting poverty and social and spiritual distress in New Zealand since 1883. We hope they can continue our ideas of making New Zealand healthier.
